Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 August 2026

IPGrid-ai is designed to be privacy-first. This policy explains what is collected, why, how long it is kept, whether third-party providers receive data, and how you can request deletion.

What we collect

  • The IP address you use to reach us, only transiently while processing a request. It is not stored by default.
  • The inputs you submit to tools (IP addresses, domains, URLs, text). These are processed and not retained by default.
  • Anonymous, aggregated metrics about tool usage (which tools are used, error counts) for reliability — never tied to a person.
  • Standard server logs (timestamps, request paths, status codes) used for operations and abuse prevention, retained for a short, configurable period and rotated automatically.

What we do not collect

  • No account is required and no personal information is needed to use the tools.
  • Email headers pasted into the analyzer are processed in memory and are not stored unless you explicitly request storage (a future opt-in feature).
  • We do not sell your data. We do not build advertising profiles.

Third-party providers

Some lookups (geolocation, WHOIS, DNS) query third-party public services. Only the specific value you asked about (for example a public IP) is sent to those providers. Private, loopback, link-local and documentation addresses are never sent to third-party providers. Each provider is subject to its own privacy policy.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies to remember your appearance preference (light/dark mode). No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set. See the Cookie Policy for details.

How long data is stored

By default we do not store request inputs. Operational logs are retained for a short, configurable period and are automatically rotated. See the Data Retention Policy.

Your rights

You may request deletion of any data associated with you at any time. Because we store almost nothing by default, deletion requests are processed immediately. Contact us using the address published on this site.
